For the families in Mondul 3 that are literally starving to death: -

Baby milk powder formula, baby bottles and tubes of antiseptic cream
Bags of rice, cans of fish, salt, packets of noodles and bottles of soy sauce
Waterproof tarpaulins to be used for roofing
Bicycles so the children on the outskirts of Mondul 3 can get to school

For any Donors out there feeling particularly generous: -

Fish Farm Project: We are currently raising funds for our Fish Farm Project, with an initial cost of approximately US$5,000.  Funds will be used for excavation, fencing and two tones of fish.  Fish in Cambodia is a very lucrative business and our aim is to be able to provide fish to our poorest families and also provide income for our Centre.

We are also aiming to acquire our own pick up truck, to ensure transport costs of fish and feed are kept to a minimum.

“We would like to thank the wonderful Irish couple from Dublin who have already made a very generous donation toward this project.”
Families in NEED!
How to help

Thanks to our partners at Globalteer we are able to offer a simple and safe way of donating money to the community centre on a one off or monthly basis through justgiving.com.

We need sustained donations to continue to provide free of charge to the community: -

· Khmer lessons for children
· English lessons for children and adults
· Vocational skill classes: Computer, Sewing, Cooking,
Beauty & Hairstyling, Stone Carving and Sports
· Medical care and medicines for the sick
· Baby milk formula for the babies of mothers that can’t supply
  breast milk due to malnutrition
· Rice and fish drops each month for 50 starving families
· Our shelter home for abused women and children
· Re-roofing grass homes so families have shelter from the weather

New Hope is 100% transparent with funds and feels a breakdown of monthly costs may be a considerable help to existing and potential donors. 100% of donations go directly to educating, caring and supporting the impoverished peoples of Mondul 3.

Their father is deceased, so the mother and six children now have no means of support whatsoever. The children are now attending New Hope.
Their father is a soldier and currently away fighting on the Thai border. He earns US$25 per month (a bag of 2nd quality rice is approximately $32). The children are now attending New Hope.
This father is in the latter stages of Aids and does not have long to live. The family has no means of support. The children are now attending New Hope.
Blind with cataracts and crippled this Grandmother is cared for by her daughter who has club hands and cannot speak. With this month’s food delivery, she grabbed my arm, crying, and said “Thank you, thank you, when I had no food to eat, I prayed my life would finish, but now I have food to eat, I want to live longer.”
