New Hope currently distributes 4,800 kg. of good quality rice each month to the hungry and chronically malnourished.  Rice is the staple diet of Asia, and is used as a base for every meal.

Give a bag of rice   =   $32

We provide a monthly rice pack (15 kg. rice and sauces) to families who have no possible means to buy rice.i.e. this could be through illness, old age, or lack of paid job opportunity.

Feed 90 families for 1 month   =   $900

(One month’s rice pack distribution to 90 non-sponsored families) 

Supply nutritious milk formula for 1 baby for 1 month  =  $ 13

Without formula, these children would drink only

rice water and suffer chronic malnourishment.

Feed our 40 babies milk formula for 1 month  =  $500 

Mums are too malnourished or sick to produce breast milk.

Family Sponsorship Programme   = $25 - $45 per month

30kg, 40kg of rice, fish sauces and small amounts of cash is given each month, depending on the size of the family.
